L Graduation Session

I’m finally fully in the month of October in the catch up process to blogging form last year!
It’s not often I get to work with adults, much less adults by themselves, but thankfully this Russian princess felt obligated from our years of knowing one another to have me take her gradation photos!
I’ve forced L to model for me before but it was wonderful to photograph her in a more natural setting. We both realized how out of shape we were (more so me) after our hike to this location, which has become one of my favorites, and thankfully made it there before the other 4 photographers behind us! Despite not having worked together for years L jumped right back into pro model mode. She’s one of those people who it’s almost hard to get a photo of. She’s beautiful at ever angle and could wear a potato sac and still look like a movie star.

J Senior Session

Never have I ever had to sneak around a location so much before in my life but dang was it worth it! About a month ago (almost every blog I write now starts with that!) I shot the beautiful Ms. J who was the a Class A Sneaker. Upon entering said location and before I could even set my bag down we were told we weren’t allowed to shoot there… we found that more of a challenge than anything and spent the next hour using code words to identify employees who’s names we made up (Leslie was the most persistent). It was all well worth the stress though and we managed to create some seriously killer images!!!

L Valentines Day Session

Happy Valentines Day everyone!!!

This is a rare thing, this might literally be the one time in my life I properly planned ahead, so this year I was able to do a mini Valentines Day shoot!!! All of you know that I am all about some frill,I love incorporating pops of color into any and every session so when the Lovely Lauren Cummings was willing to go frolic with me fighting cold and wind I was over the moon! This sweet lady is almost sickeningly sweet, she has the most positive attitude and the most contagious smile! We had discussed late 2017 doing a session together but traveling kept me busy and this lady is hard to get ahold of! Both of us go nonstop and I think that's one of the reasons we got along so well! She also laughed at all my jokes, even the ones she didn't get, so that was another big bonus. This small portion of our shoot yielding so many awesome photos and the second part deserves its own blog! 

K Senior Session

What do you do when you're given the opportunity to work with an incredibly gorgeous, kind, and funny young lady? You make her work with you for two hours.

After weeks of talking with Ms. K's mother the day finally arrived where I would get to meet these beautiful ladies! Though these two are not Nashville natives they were able to introduce me to multiple amazing locations downtown , and though I normally avoid downtown like the plague (fear of crowds) it was well worth the trip! I feel like had K and myself been in high school at the same time she would definitely be a girl I would have wanted to be friends with. She was so kind, smart, but more importantly incredibly funny, and seemed to understand all my sporadic hand motions and directions, even though I didn't know what I was doing half the time! Ms. K was so incredibly classy it only seemed appropriate to incorporate the beautiful architecture of Union Station into her session! It was incredibly hard to narrow down my personal favorites and it's going to be even harder trying not to incorporate all of her photos into my galleries!
 

Alexis Editoral

For those of you who didn't know I had some of my work published sometime last year for an article written by Alexis E. (who is also the model in these photos) about summer hacks/cheap or free ways to have fun! I loved incorporating all the pastel colors & a little bit of both of our styles into this session (& of course working with her is always a treat). I've been dying to share these colorful photos for ages & it was so hard narrowing down which ones I wanted to share!!! I've worked with Alexis on multiple occasions now & I must say how in awe I am at how quickly she can go from being such a serious intense model to such a free spirit! I think she enjoyed running around in the heat hula hopping & eating ice cream just as much as I did!

Maya, Darling, Light of my life...

Take note guys. On a first date, you want to take a beautiful woman like this to a big giant field where she can frolic. Even if it's in 30 degree weather. It's been weeks since I've been able to see this beautiful woman but the wait is well worth it! I can happily say you'll be seeing this face on my website (blog/FB) for many moons to come.

Even though this was Maya's first time being photographed professionally she did way better than I could have ever imaged! I guess it runs in the family though! Maya looks good from every angle & has her smolder down (watching ANTM pays off guys)

This family has produced nothing but beautiful & kind woman & has always made me feel incredibly comfortable & welcomed. I haven't laughed or so smiled so much in a long time & it was well worth the frostbite! After several hours of spooning for warmth & thawing out our hands Maya & I had to say our parting goodbyes (until next time of course!). It was hard trying to narrow down what photos to share & I'm happy to announce I have a new consistent model who I'll be gracing my page for many years to come!  Be sure to check back soon for a full blog covering her little princess!

Ms. Huff

It's rare now that I get to work with adults & even more rare that I get to do personal shoots! A few weeks back though, I somehow managed time for one of my oldest models! (just kidding, she blessed me with her presence & I was very fortunate to catch her in town!)

If you look at my portfolio today you'll still see some of our images from 3+ years ago! Lindsey is the model in one of my most popular images/series to date & if the images were credited back to us we would pretty much rule the world.

After weeks of talking about it & trying to work out a day & some type of theme I asked Lindsey to pack everything & we just decided to work with what we had & wing it, which has worked for us before & worked for us this session as well! Though she hasn't modeled since our strike & spare shoot (over a year ago) she still somehow managed to knock it out of the park & helped me create more stunning images than I know what to do with!
